Coming up in about a month is EC4WDA Region D/Northeast's Annual Food Drive Trail Ride. It will be held in CT at a piece of Private Property not far from the casinos. This property can NOT be run at any other times except on runs like this. The date is November 2nd, Sunday. The trail name is Trail in Vane. Most of the trails are rather hardcore but there are two trails that a rig with 31s and a little right pedal can do... some mud and rocks mixed... The rest of the trails on the property are like a mini Paragon. :D  :D Large boulders, wide, multiple lines available, average rig running those trails is set up with 35's, lockers and a winch.. We will be limiting this run to about 50 rigs, so let me know soon if you'd like to attend. It is not far off of RTE 395.
Addmission to the run is non perishable food items. Ya know the usual... canned food, peanut butter, dried goods (mac&cheeez), etc.
If you have any questions, please ask.
When you let me know of your attendance, give me your real name and a brief disc. of your rig.
Guess thats it! 8)

Oh, one more thing... we encourage any type of rig to attend (stock, moded, HIGHLY modded  )The cool thing about this land is that you can ride a bit, watch the hardcore rigs play, ride a bit more, watch some more... its like an amusement park for wheelers. The trails are all within quick walking distance of each other...
Once I have names of those attending, those folks will be PMd with directions to the meeting location.
Oh yeah... One MORE thing... the food goes to the Gateway Food and Shelter in MA (up in the small towns of MA that host several of our other trails... giving back to the communities that "give" to us. :D )

David, I am still unsure that I can go, but if you could send me the directions I would appreciate it! One question that I didn't see, will there be a line that some of our stockers can get through, and are they similar, harder, easier than where we went on 9-14 (In Union)? I just don't want to re-visit the Bizzle YJ going through those issues again, at least not this soon! I saw that you mentioned stock at one point and 31" tires at another point??

Building These Disco's. Opinions?

The access road in and then sort of around the "main" hardcore trails can be done by a stock rig, although last year, a stock S-10 Blazer got a little hung up. Then, there is another trail that is a blend of certain parts of a couple of other trails that can be done by rigs with 31s (MTs would fare better due to mud) Other than those two, the rest is about a seven rating up to ten. Thats not going by the Jamboree ratings either that say a stock Wrangler can drive the Rubicon  :p
This property is like an amusement park... you can drive in , drive around and keep looking for places to play, turn around and run a trail opposite direction, hang and watch, drive a little more, go up a notch and try something harder, all within feet of a hardcore trail and lots of help. It really is a fun place. You can all check out some pix at www.eastern4wheelers.com and then going to the Trail in Vane photos. You can also check out our trail ratings by going to our 2003 schedule page and finding them there. Any questions, please ask.
Hope to seeya there.
