Front pinion angle cj5

I couldnt edit my post, But I would not drill a hole in my frame to hang the shackle from. I have seen pics of many jeeps set up the way yours is.
Why would you not drill and sleeve the frame to do it right? With the proper boxing it's a solid solution. It's either that or lower the front spring hangers significantly.

And yes, I'm familiar with how CJ's and YJ's hang their springs from the factory. I'm also familiar with caster angle and SRS setups, and how many do it wrong like in the above pics.

Did some research today and it seems some drill the frame and others dont. Some of the companies selling kits drill the frame and some use a spring hanger. I stated that I wouldnt drill the frame just because it seems the spring eye would constantly come in contact with the frame when it flexed and I wouldnt want that, just personal preferance. I never stated the way you suggested was right or wrong, just that I wouldnt do it, so I apologise if it sounded argumenitive.
