Well I have 4.0 engine with i believe 3.06 or 3.07 gear ratio, I want to go to 33'', im not sure what transmission is in it, and yes i love to wheel in colorado, but havent lately because it needs more work.

I would regear to 4.10 or 4.56, with 4.56 being the optimum lower gear for offroad. Finding a pair of used TJ axles from either a Rubicon or 2.5L 5spd would be an easy way to install 4.10 gears.
