First jeep was a 87 Levis edition 304. 3spd evil mud slinging soft top soft doors having said that I now have 94 yj 4.0 3 spd auto and my daily driver. Ok for the question I have a hard top full Metal doors I think I would like a soft top and 1/2 doors that way my grandson dose not get a sun burn he thinks when the jeep rolls he has to go

I prefer a soft top to the hard one, but I'm in Virginia, and the winters aren't too bad.
Look out for the shape of the upper window. Your hard top has a rounded corner, however YJ soft tops are made to accept a pointed corner like this:

All this means is that you won't be able to use the full doors with your soft top unless you find / buy a new door surround.

You'll need to buy the full soft top, with frame, windshield header, etc.
