Finally!!
I've got an '88 YJ, bone stock, it's a real pig on the road though!
It is so slow it couldn't catch a cold!!!
It's got the 258 i-6 engine, carburated.
---Was wondering of any mods that would make it a little more peppy.
Already gonna do the air filter and high flow exhaust, but if there is anything else
please let me know!! Thanks in advance!

Yeah, as tug says is... Look for a carb, and headers. But first off. Being you just bought it. Go throught and change your wires, spark plugs, oil, and run some good gas through it with a cleaner. Helps more than you would think! Good luck and welcome.[addsig]

Is yours a Laredo? I had an '88 Laredo, nice lookin Jeep.

Replace that carb with a Weber, the stock carb sucks. If you ever notice a loss of power getting gradually worse, replace the worn out catalytic converter.[addsig]
