All in all not a bad way to spend it. Don't take this the wrong way, but you don't seem like you need the performance accessories (lockers, winches, etc) like some of us so the way you spent the 500 bucks was probably a pretty good way to do so.

I agree; lockers, winches, and all the other good stuff is cool to have, but (in my opinion) a big waste of money if you don't do some serious wheeling. These things are just too expensive to have if you don't really use them. Grant you, I prefer to have them and not need them than need them and not have them, but from what I have read on your posts, you don't do so much offroading, right? So I think your decisions were good ones!

Good choices!

The hard points front and back are also good things. Many formal 4X4 clubs require them as a safety factor.

If you have some left over a radio is also a good idea. CB or FRS (depends on the people that you may ride with) plus a CB radio can help you pass the time and find out about traffic situations on long road trips...

Agreed, if you have any left over from that little escapade, a good CB will serve you well on the road and the trail.
 
Yeah when i get to cali, im going to look for an offroading club. But in the past year ive only done very little off roading but its something i want to get into. But im happy with what i bought.
 

okay, so the 5 items i ordered 3 were sent. The seat covers, i still haven't got an email about or as been confirmed shipped by Quadratec. it also doesn't say its on back order or out of stock... someone explain?
