Jeep hard top

Alright so I have a red wrangler and I have been looking for a hard top for about a year now. I found one for 500 but it's white so here is my question would it look terrible if I spray painted it black for a quick fix. Or would you guys do something else, but keep in mind I'm trying save money any input would be appreciated thanks in advanced

In my opinion you would be just fine.

its a jeep, hard tops are for sissys. i only have one because it is incorporated in the structural stability of the rest of the vehicle.

More options with a Wrangler or CJ hardtop...removable...swaps out with soft top, etc. Also, not so bad when it is 110 degrees in the shade, or 20 below zero in the winter.

I like mine (must be a "sissy"..ha!).

My old top was pretty beat up so I used a couple of cans of that cheap spray wrinkle trunk paint. It's smooth enough to look good, it's thick enough to cover most of the existing imperfections and you don't need alot of prep work!

Alright so I picked up the hard top today and there is no back window which is fine because I plan on putting one in but I was wondering if there was anything that is supposed to attach to the bottom of the glass. Because on my soft top back window there is a bar that runs through the bottom that attaches it to the jeep. If any one knows or better yet has a hard top could u post a pic of what the inside of the back window should look like. Thanks

I've got the hard top off of my TJ right now, but there is no bar. Just a rubber gasket that goes along the bottom of the window that seals it to the tailgate when closed. There is no bar that connects the lower part of the rear of the hard top or connects along the bottom of the window. Without the window, it would be unconnected.

Nothing under my window either. Just open the tailgate and lift the window.

across the bottom of my window is a plastic piece. it lifts when you lift hte window

for 30.00 bucs or so you can paint it with grizzly grip with the light texture. it would look great and take a beating. it comes in colors and good old black.

I'm really considering doing the grizzly can you post a pic of what yours looks like and can I get it in tan to match the upper doors thanks
