Lock rite locker

I'm certain this question has been posted mulitiple times but I'm just plain lazy & this dial up internet takes just to long to load so here we go again...

Is the lock rite locker a reliable unit for a CJ with stock 304 engine & stock axles? I've been told these are the best bang for your buck for a rig like mine even with the 33x15.5 Super Swampers I have on it. This is a low budget Jeep & I'm trying to get lockers & a fairly decent winch without going broke.

I've considered this but I already have trouble with my turning radius being extra wide with the 15.5 wide tires I have on it. Being welded will surely make this problem even worse.

white, not that i'd do it myself, but how involved is welding it instead of installing lockers? and what are the advantages/disadvantages over each?

Search the General and CJ/YJ/TJ forums for 'lincoln locker' and 'welded diff' and other variations, there's a lot of threads out there.

Hello, I have lockrights front and rear. With AMC 360, one piece rear axles, and Dana 30 front. Running 33" bfg's we go wheeling at least once a month. Have not broke one yet. Had them installed for three years!
