Jester32 New member Oct 28, 2011 #2 If its a 4.0 l. I would put a mechanical guage on it and check. They were bad for oil pumps wearing out.

Jester32 New member Oct 28, 2011 #4 Try over filling it. If oil pressure stabilizes. Most likely the oil pump pick up fell out very common on sbc. All my race motors we tack them in.
