I just got back indoors from gathering photons with my son tonight.
Mars is very close right now and very bright. Even with my cheap-o Meade scope, it really lit up. Its a cool thing to do with your kids...

I heard about the Mars stuff in the news. Way cool. I don't have my photon accelerator on me right now. I'm glad yours is working. lol

That is really cool. Some of my fondest memories with my pop are when we went stargazing. He had a great scope. Really makes for good conversation with your kid as to the universe and our existence in it.
