Is it just me or did that sound "pornish".lol

It looked a little staged to me, and I think they are turdy five rear axle....are they going to show it blowing up? Jeeps going to love to see that on national TV...hehehe

All those shows are staged You expect them to fail but them wahlaaaa they pull through.

Ok so I've seen the two shows that have aired so far and I don't know what to think.

I like watching to see how they tackle the different situations they face/ put themselves in because I feel like I might learn something and be able to use it one day.

But for instance in the Volcano episode the Brit can be seen throwing himself into a crevas before a break in film. Give me a break I know its all show but do it right for us. Also in the Jungle Video Billy Wu is seen driving through a bush and ends up in a swamp. But there is no brush on the Jeep or in its way when the go into the swamp.

May be I'm being to critical but I feel like they shoud try just a little harder. I will still watch for now ans for God sake STOP CALLING IT A CAR!!

Calling the TJ a "car" is driving me nuts too,but I got the impression that they may be avoiding copyright/trademark issues. I agree some of the filming looks a bit staged...They seemed to find an awful lot of wide open jungle floor....I've seen places in Michigan that are more over grown than most of where they were driving. Guess I'm just a cynic.

If they recieved technical help as stated in the opening...then they dont have someone who knows how to off-road and effect trail repairs.
Thank gowd they aired that second episode, I now know what to do when someone in our group breaks a "half shaft". Take one axe, with a nice hickory handle, and chop down a green tree, that just so happens to be laying on the ground, and strap that to frame and axle( with an unlimited supply of straps), using a high lift jack with a nice steel handle. And dont worry about the broken "C" clip, the "half shaft" end, or anything thing else floating in the differential. It will be fine, the gears are harden steel right?

My point as well! I'm not usually an overly critical person but in the first episode when they were crossing the river, half the shots showed the winch control over the hood going into the drivers window and the other half it was gone. There...gone...there...gone. Try harder. The doors suddenly reappearing also bothered me but maybe that's me. Try harder.

Like you said though, I'll still be watching.

Too bad in the real world the straps would be shreaded by rocks and logs and debris on the trail....

Its the little things

I watch it also to see what I might learn....but.... when it comes to editing the show the editors probably have never been in a jeep or anything like it. So they don't know what to look for...what I don't get on the second episode is why didn't they take the handle of the high lift and strap it to the frame on the outside of the tire to keep it from coming out...or something like that...who in here whould think of a tree??? Dumb.

I thought the tree idea was good, they just made it harder than it needed to be, using untamed's idea would take 10 mins to do. And also I they need to learn how to be in front of a camera. But it's the beginning so they can fix things, if they keep up the stupid ideas and stages they won't last too long

I saw that there were five episodes, so they can't fix anything, I would guess all five are filmed already.

If they would just leave Billy a steak in the "car" we would learn more about what they plan to do next..... besides eat.

Fixing the plug wire with a stick? Really? He had tape, why didn't he just tape the wire instead of cutting it up?

Dude I thought the same thing lol.. That's ridiculous.. And jeep sponsors the show and they call it a "car".. Never heard them mention "jeep" yet..
