I've been having a few problem shifting through my gears. When I'm at a dead stop and go to shift into 1st gear, the jeep will grind going into 1st. Other times I will go to shift into first and it will not go into gear. I feels as if something is blocking it from going into gear. I will have to put it into reverse and coast backwards for a little and then shift it into 1st. Yesterday I replaced the flywheel, the clutch, the pressure plate, the pilot bearing, the internal slave and replaced the transmission fluid with Syncomesh. I've bled the internal slave. I still have the same problem as before. None of those things fixed my problem. What could be the problem? What else should I do and what could be causing this problem. Someone please help me as I am about ready to sell the jeep if I don't get this to work. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Sounds like the Syncros are bad. Have you taken it to a transmission shop and explained the problem? I had an old truck that done the same thing. would no go into gear and it was bad syncronizers (sp?)

Syncros are going bad. There's a chance shifting may improve if you use a quality synthetic gear oil like Redline MT90. I get mine from Summit racing and it generally improves notchy shifting. Depends on how far gone your syncronizers are.
