Problem with Brakes

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, V8, 4 wheel disc.

Most of the time the brakes work fine. Once in a while at random I hit the brake pedal. It feels weak and does not stop the Jeep well. The next time I touch the pedal it is fine. This only happens occasionally. I have replaced the brakes front and rear. No leaks at the brake lines or calipers. Plenty of fluid in the master cylinder. The brake problem is still there. Any ideas what I should check next??

Does it feel like the power is lost from your power brakes? Maybe a bad brake booster.

I checked the vacuum line on the brake booster. It is intact. I am thinking maybe a problem with the anti-lock brakes.

Are you running a lift w/oversized tires??? use some brakleen and clean them up. could be the booster. could be the distribution block.

The Grand Cherokee is all stock. This is the wife's Jeep. I do not drive it much. I drove it the last few days and the brakes seems to be working normal. The brakes are all new so I am going to let it go as is.
