Couple months ago I had the rear brake shoes and hardware replaced by a garage cause I didn't have the time to do it. They didn't replace the brake cylender cause they said they were still good. I had to take it back the next day to get one replaced, it wasn't good.
They replaced it for nothing.
Then, a couple months later the other side is leaking (spewing fluid all over the tire) The level was not very low, so I kept driving it for another 2 weeks and the leaking stopped. Now, about 2 weeks after the one side stopped leaking, the other side is leaking that they originally replaced the cylender on. The rearend is a D44 out of an 89 XJ and was totally rebuilt when I put it in the jeep. What the heck is with this thing? I am running big tires but geez... and the inconsistancy is very puzzling.
any ideas? or should I just upgrade to disks in the rear?
