Receiver Hitch

My 2" receiver hitch is simply mounted onto and below rear bumper. Have purchased a small utility trailer to tow. Thinking of replacing hitch with one mounted to frame instead of bumper. Good idea or not necessary. Will not. be hauling more than 500 lbs...

Do you have any pics of the current setup?

Remember the 500 lbs can be magnified tremendously during an evasive maneuver or emergency braking.

Got lucky today by picking up a frame mounted hitch very reasonable...All is well...
