Anybody with any info on rough country suspensions??? They seem to be a little lower priced than other are they good or cheap jeap junk. I need to get 33 12.5 under my Jeep will I be abel to do it with 3" suspension and 3/4 shackles or 1" body lift?

Whoa. I just posted this exact post about 4 days ago. Go lookin for it. The title is called "YJ Lift and Wheel combo"

I've decided that the 3" lift and 3/4" shackles are enough to clear 33's, but only for the street. I think that at full stuff, you will get some rubbin in the rear flares. Might need to do some trimmin.

Here's some pics of other YJs with the lift and 33's

2nd row all the way to the right is what you will get. But look how close that rear wheel is to the fender flare. Too close for me. I'm thinking 31's

Rough Country has good products from what I've seen, well worth the money.

You'll need about 4.5" or 5" to clear 33" tires on a YJ offroad. Use a 1" body lift and/or TJ fender flares for the extra clearance after the suspension lift.

direct axle swap

Rough country offers a 3" lift even with 1" body lift do you guys think I will have enough clearance for 33's?????
Other than a body lift or 3/4 shackles what can i do to get the additional 1.5 to 2" clearance i need to run the 33 x 12.50's

Trim the stock fender flares, or install TJ fender flares.

You can go with a 2" body lift, but there are more complications when you go with more BL.

Hey, about a month ago I installed the rough country 3" on my 95YJ and I love i. Ive been offroad several times since and it seems to hold up good. No problems yet. Its a pretty good kit with everything you need (except for the rr perch bolts). Im running 31's right now with the 3"suspension and also a 2" body lift. I actually need 33's but hesitant with my 4cyl. Everyone is down on b/lifts but i have always run a 2" and have never had any problems with it.

Go to FollowMyRutz.com for the best price anywhere on the Rough Country Package. I did the 3 lift and loved it. tug
