i have a question about oem rubicon spring. will they give a sport any amount of lift. i have heard that they do and that they dont.

I believe rubicons come with a 2 inch lift but not sure where it is lifted at,if it is in the springs or spacers.that part I am unsure of.

1" or less is likely, most Rubicon springs carry the same part number as other 4.0L TJ's.

Also depends on how much your stock springs have sagged.

Coil spacers would be a safer bet and time better spent.

What Bounty said, should net in the area of .75 inches of lift. if you already have them, then I would say spacer lift as well since you will have to pull the spring. if you don't already have them, BDS makes a 2" lift for the tj's, very well priced, and performs really well. should giv more in the area of 2.5-3" of lift.

rubicon springs are the same length as other TJ just much harder spring i.e. the lift that is perceved is due to the old springs being softer and sagging.

I threw a set of rubi springs on my 99 sport and it brought it back to stock level.. there is no lift from installing the rubi springs. They are just a thicker spring and are stiffer.
