Slave Cylinder Plastic Pivot

Replacing the slave cylinder on my 1985 Jeep Cherokee. Pulled the external slave cylinder, new slave cylinder does not have a plastic pivot on the end of the slave rod. Ordered a plastic pivot, my question is how to attach the new plastic pivot point to the new slave cylinder rod? Thanks

Sorry to delay my response. I did some digging and cannot find a diagram or explanation.
Hopefully someone here has done this.
