Hello all,

Quick question. Am helping my brother install a Steel Horse soundbar in his `97 Wrangler. We've got the speakers hooked up and working but we are both at a loss when it comes to the dome light. The instructions from Steel Horse are not very clear as to what to wire the power/ground wires into for the dome light. Does anyone have any ideas? I assume someone on this fine board has installed one of these before. Thanks and happy Jeepin'

Standard dome light wireing is that the positive lead is taken from the fuse box straight to the dome light. It is important that the fuse is included in the positive lead. The light is switched on the negative side via the door switches making contact to the vehicle body. This may not be much help for this specific application, but it is general knowledge that may be usefull.

If the light bar has its own switch you should be able to wire it from any fuse that has a lead that is hot all the time and then ground it to a good ground on the body.[addsig]
