I bought la 94 Cherokee sport 3 weeks ago and the steering seems really loose and sitting parked its like i have manual steering. Is this my power steering box? I replaced the track bar because it had slop in the ball joint but it didnt fix my problem. Any help would be apprfeciated.

The loose steering and hard steering maybe two different issues.. You can isolate the loose steering components by having someone turn the steering back and forth while you asses the components under the vehicle. Check the steering tie rod ends, draglink ,balljoints, and the steering gear box. The lack of powersteering assist could be caused by a weak powersteering pump at idle, low fluid, oversized tire etc..
