super swamper tires

Anyone running super swamper LTB tires? How are they on the highway? hard to handle, noise , wear, balance, rough riding like a bogger? let me know because I like the looks of the 34 x 10.50 x 15 's. But I want to know the truth and not a magazine article. You guys always shoot straight with me. I am glad I didn't get the thornbirds.

Sorry no luck with me, I saw get the Yoko MT's But I am really biased!

They don't ride very well, but what do you expect from a 34" bias ply tire as aggressive as a swamper. The onroad ride is a trade-off for the best offroad traction available, so the final decision is yours.

If you want compromise, go with the TSL Radial in the 33x10.5" size.

I have 33x15.5x15 Interco Super Swamper on my 76 CJ-7.
I wouldn't recommend them for any street use.
They are extremely noisey, ride terrible, & wear even worse.
Great off road tire though!

I've got a neighbor with a big Ford with a lift and some big metric sized TSL Radials. He says he loves them but he doesn't take it on the highway much.

Yes, the TSL Radial is a pretty good dual purpose tire, more aggressive than most MT's while maintaining a decent street ride. You give up a little performance in the rain and snow on the road, but it's minimal. Just have to decide what's important to you.
