tire fitting question

I have a stock height 97zj. The tires are shot and i found a set of 245/70/16s for a decent price. Im currently running 235/65/16s and it looks like i have plenty of room left over. I just wanna make sure itll clear the control arms and such. I do plan on doing just a small like 1.5 inch lift soon, but i need tires asap. Thanks guys!

I beleive they will be fine. I think you can put a 30" tire on there in stock trim. I have a s-10 blazer years ago, and put 30" tires on it in stock form and a friend of mine just put 30" on his ford explorer in stock trim, he dont off road his explorer but i did my s-10 some and didnt have any rubbing problems. I really think you'll be fine.

Thats what i was thinking . Im gonna have an infant in my truck this winter and i just dont wanna have a blow out with a baby in there lol
