I was wondering what everyone does for their day job. For myself, about 4 years ago made the jump to working on VOIP phones. I manage the phone system for my company, and a couple times a year I fly out to other offices and install systems there.

I'm known around the office as Terry the Telephone Guy.

Manager at Firestone store.

Curtain wall/glazing engineer and CAD designer. Big glass buildings and architectural metals. Great job I love it. Two years out of college and already taking on 5 million dollar jobs. 7 years as a high end trim carpenter before.

"Lead System Specialist" for Johnson Controls - in other words, I do larger-scale commercial installations of HVAC control systems. To put it simply, I'm a glorified air conditioning contractor...been doing this for just shy of 6 years now.

I was in IT for awhile. I was network admin for a small IT staffing and solutions company. We had VOIP and I loved it. Pretty easy to manage really.

Now I'm part owner of a Lenny's Sub Shop franchise in Charleston, SC.

...and thanks to the economy, we had to sell it. :(
