I'm having white smoke coming from my jeep engine. Its an '89 YJ Wrangler and it seems to generate some white smoke after awhile. Its kinda hard to see at first and don't know what its coming from. Any help would be awesome. Thanks all.

Not unlike traffic signals color of exhaust can be telling;

black exhaust = rich fuel mixture
blue exhaust = oil burning
white exhaust = water (steam)

I sure hope it's only water vapor trapped in the exhaust system, rather than a blown head gasket or cracked block.

Check your radiator hoses,stat seal,water pump.Any of them can leak once the system starts to circulate.

Is the oil in your motor milky? If so it is probably your head gasket. It is possible though for the head to crack allowing coolant into the exhaust manifold without milking the oil.

Could be a crack in the manifold to if it looks like its coming from under the intake
