Wont idle

Ok so I have a 258 just rebuilt, mild cam, head work pacesetter header, motorcraft 2150 carb. HEI ignition. Everything on jeep is brand new with 600 miles on it.

Last Saturday I drove my jeep 90 miles without a single issue then I shut it off for about an hr and when I started it back up it won't idle. It runs good when I'm driving but won't idle when I turn idle up the whole motor shakes like a mis fire. If I un plug vaccum advance it died instantly. I have spark on all cylinders. Any ideas? Thanks a lot

Welcome to jeeps.com . Recheck the torque on the intake manifold and throttle body.

Agree^^ Are your fuel lines heat shielded?

Have you checked to see the plugs are in shape? Gaps within spec?

To check for a vac leak you could spray carb cleaner or WD40 while idling and listen for idle to change.
