XJ Snorkle & Roof basket

Found a lifted XJ I think I might buy if I sell this Chevy Z71 before he sells the XJ and I was wondering what kinda snorkle and what roof basket you guys recommend? Those 2 things & aftermarket bumpers are about the last things it needs to be all setup for what I want it for. It's already got about 6" of lift under it and beadlocks with 33"s....Got any pics of your XJ's with a snorkle and something like a Yakima roof rack on it????? Lemme see them.

I only know of a snorkle made by ARB.

As far as roof racks Garvin makes a nice one...Had one on my TJ it was great.

I have a Garvin Wilderness rack with gutter mounts, 4 light tabs, and a locking spare tire mount for an XJ. Here's a picture before I put the tire mount on it: You could add a mount for a hi-lift or whatever else you'd want for it. I'm going to offer it up for sale soon, but it you buy that XJ and you want it PM me and maybe we can work something out.

It's a solid rack and has a 300 lb capacity with the included gutter mount system (more than the one that mounts to the factory roof rack rails).

TwistedCopper, I might be interested in that rack if I buy this XJ I'm looking at. Shoot me a price for it with the tire mount included and all the other stuff when you get a chance.

Dirk, that's a good looking snorkle, I'll keep that one in mind when I buy a XJ.

After looking at the Yakima rack & the Garvin rack I think I like the Garvin unit alot more...So I'll probably go that route.

Anyone got any sugestions on aftermarket bumpers? Gotta be black tube type and I'd prefer them to have the loop on the front one.

Winch style or no?

Winch style I guess....Cause sooner or later I'll probably end up putting a winch on whatever I buy.

We have a sweet bumper, but it's a non-winch style.
For guys who don't intend to run a winch, a bumper like this allows a much better approach angle on the trail than a winch style can.
There are a LOT of choices out there in a winch bumper.
You'll wanna look at what works for you. ARB Bull Bars are really nice looking but they are heavier and aren't what I'd use for rockcrawling and more extreme trails. Hanson makes a terrific bumper, but it's not on the cheaper side. Do a web search under cherokee XJ front bumper or something along that line and see what pops up.
