YJ rear tow hook

Mounts to the rear crossmember, which isn't very stout.

I recommend getting a towhook exactly like what YJ's use on the front, and mount it to the side of the frame forward of the rear shackle. One side works fine, both sides all the better.
 
Yes, using grade 8 bolts. Careful you don't drill into the fuel tank.

It's best to overdrill the holes and sleeve them, but mine has held up fine without it, and It's been used hard. The frame is plenty thick for this.
 

I simply use a clevis (D ring) on my 2" reciever! pretty cheap as long as you don't get the warm model!
 
mine are set up exactly like bounty's. The only problem i ran in to was drilling through the exhuast hanger on the frame... luckily i was able to get the nuts on a little bit and tighten them down, while crushing the hanger out of the way. this isnt harmful to anything, and now those nuts arent going anywhere.
