Is there anyway to convert an AX5 to an AX15 without changing the 2.5L engine. I am currently trying to convert the 2.5L to a 4.0L, and with the research that I have done, everyone says that I need to replace the AX5 to a AX15 to handle the torque. Since my AX5 transmission's synchro rings are going I thought i mine as well replace the whole thing with an upgrade. If you know what is necessary to make this conversion it would be much appreciated. In addition the reason why I am doing the transmission then the engine is because that is a lot of loot to drop at once.
