7/yj drive shaft

does anyone have the mesurements of a 7/yj rear DS, mine is worn, and i would like a longer one for the upcoming lift..... if you have one (good one) laying around i would gladdly take it off your hands :-D [addsig]

7 would be better, i would think, my specs are 13" collaped 15.5" running legenth, and 16" extended :-O its the last one that kinda scares me only .5" till something brakes.... :-O :-O

YJ shaft is different, has the slip yoke so it won't bolt in your 5. You need the 7 shaft since it bolts to a fixed yoke. Nothing here to take measurements from, sorry. I do know that the 2.5L 5spd YJ shaft is about 1" longer than the 4.0L shaft, if that helps :lol: [addsig]

Sorry that it took so ling but we went to a shop and
messured a brand new drive shaft out of a 83 CJ 7
and here is what we have....12.5" collaped 15" running
legenth, and 16.5" extended ...hope this helps
