Does anyone know why all of a sudden the reverse gear can start grinding? I made sure the clutch is all the way in and that the shift boot is out of the way. Double pumping the clutch works but I wonder why it does the grinding without that?

What can be done to make the sound of a Jeep more agressive (deep rumble) without spending way to much?

The Jeep I bought has rust on the door hindges and hood hindge. While the rust is small less than 1/4 of the hindges I was wondering if instead of buying new ones I can sand them down and repaint them? I know nothing of body paint for cars but would it rust again shortly?

If i am looking to gain only 1"-2" on my Jeep should I invest in the $90 body lift(polyurethane) or should I get the leaf spring lift?

Gear ratios I know little about the gear ratios when concerning bigger tires, but if the Jeep I bought came with 31's what ratio should I have and how do I find out whats in the Jeep currently?

Hello everyone! I am currently a new Jeep YJ owner and have a question about wheels/tires and how they are related to body lifts. The Jeep I have aquired is not lifted however it has 31" tires on it. My question is can I add a lift to it (1-2") for an affordable price? Thanks!
