1995 jeep grand cherokee limited 318 engine

replaceing waterpump. cant get the nut loose to pull fan and clutch off. reverse threads i heard. any help would be nice.

I'm not posative, but I don't think they are reverse. Even the lug nuts are not in the old 'reverse' configuration. By that I mean, the idea of reverse threads was to not let the nuts or bolts loosed do to rotational directions. All my 318's have been regular 'left to loosen' and right to tighten.But someone might pipe in and know difinatively.
