90 wrangler 6cyl no fuel to carb

Any suggestions on no fuel getting to carb? I have down the following:

replaced mechanical fuel pump (twice)
bypassed filter
broke down carb and cleaned thoroughly


Any input would be appreciated! Getting very frustrated

With the fuel line disconnected from the carburator, try to crank it and see if the fuel spits out of the supply line.If nothing comes out, Take note of the fuel level and pour 5 gal. of fuel in the tank and crank it again to see if it would come out, if it doesn't and you can feel some air coming out of the line, check the siphon tube in the fuel tank and the pick up filter.

I've tried that. Nothing comes out of the supply line. Do I have to drop the tank completely to get access to the main line coming out of the tank?
