Ebrake light troubles

Ok i searched but being a noob i couldn't find anything so i'm gonna ask on my own. The other day i noticed my brakes were acting funny but didn't think much of it until later that day i noticedmy ebrake light was still on. I've engaged and disengaged the ebrake multiple times and i can't get the light to go off. When i press on the brakes every now and then they feel normal and sometimes they feel weird (hard to describe, like they r sticking or something). Anything i can do short of pulling my brakes off cause i hate working on drum brakes esp. in the cold. (93yj)

Not sure if it works the same with jeeps but a lot of vehicles will have the ebrake light come on when you're low on brake fluid.

Two things:
-Pull up on the ebrake to make sure it's releasing completely
-If the light stays on, there's trouble in the hydraulic brakes somewhere (not necessarily in the ebrake, the light also signals problems in the regular brakes).

Check the fluid and make sure the brakes are adjusted properly and bled of all air.

Well i pulled out on the ebrake so i'm guessing it's option #2... guess since i'm grounded i have time to go pull the brakes off and see what the problem is... gonna be cold though:roll:

Low on brake fluid. Easy fix so i guess i don't get to upgrade anything. Thanks for the help guys and i'm sure to bring other problems to ya'lls attention soon.(which u better help me fix:twisted: )
