Found a 5.7

Well i've came across a 5.7 out of a 93 Grand Cherokee, but what i'm asking is would the transmission on the 5.7 bolt up to my transfer case because that transfer case is AWD and i dont want that. thanks

5.7? 93 GC's only came out with a 5.2 or a 4.0 with the option of the NP-241, 242 or 249 mounted on the 42RH/46RH trans. The 5.7 was not introduced to the GC until the WK body in 2005.

First check that you do in fact have a 5.7 (see Steelz's post), then I would start by calling Advanced Adapters and see if they have what you need to make it fit... Do you also have the computer and harness? If not, try Painless Wiring.

You cant trust people now a days, guy told me it was a 5.7, its a 5.2 (318) which i do have but was locked up and am in the process of rebuilding it, Will see how it goes.

So do you have the ECU and cable harness as well?
