I put a new brake booster and master cylinder in my wife's GMC Arcadia, and had a heck of a time getting the things started (it didn't come with a bench bleeder kit). I ended up building this out of the old cap and hooking it up to my compressor. It pushed the fluid down enough to prime the master cylinder.
If you do this just be aware that an oiled compressor may contaminate your brake fluid
