Leaf springs

I have a 1995 YJ wrangler I have a slight squeak when ever I go over bumps and I have replaced the shackles with the greasable kind. What should I do?:?|

It doesn’t squeak when it rains

If you bounce on the front bumper can you tell where the squeak comes from? Are you sure that it's the shackles?

well I replaced the oled shackles so now I think it is my leaf springs maby but when it rains or get wet it doesn't squeak

I'm not sure about the leaf springs squeaking, it could be anything (shocks, etc). I think you should get a friend to bounce on the bumper while you look around under it.

ok well I just replaced the shockes not but two weeks ago and the squeak has been there way befor I started replacing everything

You can pry down the ends of each leaf in the spring pack and throw some grease on the friction pads, see if that helps.

Does anyone know of a kit that you can buy to move the wiper blades out of your veiw?

I got a set of those wiper upgrades on my YJ... The mechanism works fine, but I do recommend better blades than the ones that come with the kit. I got Bosch blades (they are sold as rear blades for SUV's, dont remember the sub-brand) and now they work MUCH better!

Have you done anything to the spring bushings? If they're the factory 1995 rubber bushings, they're likely disinegrating and in need of replacement. Polyurethane bushings are a good replacement and are available from many sources and manufacturers (Prothane, DayStar...).
