Leak in Cab

Everytime it rains hard for a lengthy period of time I end up with water on the floorboard of my driver's side. There are no signs that the water is running down the inside of any of the windows and I can't seem to discover where the water is leaking from. Any ideas?

I had this problem and I had lost a grommet (sp?) to a hole in my firewall.

RE: Career Change 2: Radiologic Technology

When it happened to my 04 TJ (I'm not sure what you have) it was a rubber piece missing. I have full doors and there is a plastic surround that goes around them. At the bottom of the surround there is a metal pin that goes into a rubber piece that is attached to the tub. Mine were missing.

Welcome to Jeepz.com, what year and model Jeep do you have?

It's pretty common to have a poor seal at the base of the windshield, allowing water to come in. You can have somebody run a hose over the outside while you inspect for leaks.

RE: 258 Upgrade

I also know (thanks to the guys here) that the drain hose from the hood vent can get plugged with debris and cause water to overflow into your rig.
