The bast way to not have scratchs is to use a rag to wrap around the bolts and than use the wrench over the rag. I also put a rag against the body just in case you accidently hit that as well. Best way is to just be careful. However no matter how hard you try the bolts are gonna lose their paint, its just a fact. Its best to accept that, go out and buy some matching spray paint, theyre only bolts....nobody keeps em anyways
