Rotella in summer ?

Ora anybody run rotella 10-40 on the summer months ? Noticed since it has gotten in the upper 90's oil pressure runs lower. Thinking of going to heavier oil ?

I still run rotella but I don't remember the weight

I'd stick to the Jeep Owner's Manual recommendations. Mine shows two oil combinations, one for cooler weather and one for warmer. The multi-grade oils cover a pretty broad range of conditions.

I run the rotella t 15w40 in my jeep year round with no trouble. Oil pressure stays good even on the hottest days

I run 10w40 year round. During the summer hunting season, temps get in the low 100's and my oil pressure is just fine.
