Slave Cyl (clutch question)...........

ok so I'm on the centerforce site and looking at clutch model parts for Jeep. They list no 2003 but do have 2002. There are two different parts sets for these two things:

Internal slave cyl

External slave cyl

I'm a 2.4 L 4 cyl. Where would I find this internal/external determination or is that something machine heads (not me) usually know?

HELP!

P.S.S. I can tell this will be a super expensive fix. The clutch set itself is 300 dollars.

First, it's an external clutch slave.

Second, get off the Centerforce site as the anemic 2.4L doesn't need the extra holding power of a performance clutch, it's a waste of money IMO that's better spend elsewhere. Then it won't be a 'Super Expensive Fix', only moderately expensive

Get a quality OEM type clutch like the LUK brand available at www.carolinaclutch.com . Just get OEM, don't waste the money on the LUK Gold kit.

I didn't find anything on CarolinaClutch's website for your model and engine, but either give them a call or check elsewhere for OEM.

www.dialaclutch.com may be another source for ya. Give 'em a call before giving up.

And not to worry, I have the 2.5L, although the sticker on the back of the jeep boasts "2.5L High Output" LOL.
