The Cheap Wrangler Build...

Been awhile since I updated this, going a different direction at this point. I?m being ?encouraged ? to part out the TJ. My wife wanted something she can drive?ended up picking up a 1999 4.0 auto

This is as it was getting it home. Does have some body rust (will be fixed) frame is pretty nice.

Started with some cosmetic upgrades, grab handles, seat covers, phone mount, new door handles as the originals were rusty. As an aside I now know way more about the inner workings of TJ doors than I ever had a desire too?

Also did new hood latches, I tossed on the fenders I had on the TJ after rattle canning them a similar shade of red.

The rough plan of attack is as follows:

-2.5? Skyjacker long travel triple rate coils (already ordered)

-Fox 2.0 shocks (pulling off my TJ)

-New stainless brake hoses

-SYE, Tom Woods drive shaft, all new control arms (pulling off my TJ)

-Belly up skid plate with 1.25? body lift (have both)

-Motor mount lift

-Clean and paint frame and add drain holes

-Fix body and repaint Anvil Gray

I?ll keep this updated as I get the parts pulled/installed

Got the front and rear bumpers done and winch on. Also trimmed the frame cover and got it back on.
