Tj 4.o litre v6

Are these engines better than the inline 4.0 litres? Thks..

For most Jeep use, the inline 6 is better than the v6 due to more torque down low in the RPM range, great for creeping along offroad in 4low.

Forgot to ask,are the v6's as reliable as the other?

If your reffering to the 3.8 liter V6 on the JK , yes they are reliable but not as good of a response on power like the 4.0 inline six like Bounty_Hunter said earlier.
