TJ Track Bar Trouble

Hello,
I've nearly finished a 2" BDS suspension lift on my 97 tj. This being my first lift kit ever installed, it was accompanied by alot of rusty bolts, cursing and crushed fingers. But the end is finally in sight! One frustartion that remains however is my front track bar. I have disconnected it where the ball joint meets the frame. (dont ask why I didnt just unscrew the bolt from the housing on the other end..., like i said, first lift) After re-assemply however, the threaded end comming from the ball joint refuses to fit nicely back into its hole. After repeated jackings and much malleting, however, I convinvinced it to go partially back into its rightful location; only to find that I'm unable to screw the nut back on because the threaded end turnes with the nut! The harder I try to tighen on this stubborn nut the more it just spins! Is there anyway to stop the threaded end from turning so I can fasten the bar back in place? Any help that you could give would be greatly apprecited.

Cheers,
Biermann

P.S.
(Has anybody ever dis-connected their rear track bar? (this time from the housing with the bolt where it is supposed to be unfastened) The bolt is so giant that it nearly backs out into the gas tank! I had to abandon the rachet and loosen it sidways with a pair of vice grips!!)[/i]

RE: well the clutch works...

Disconnect the lower end of the front track bar in order to connect the upper end. Push up on the upper end with a board on a floor jack to put enough pressure on the tierod end to keep it from spinning while tightening.

You'll then have to ratchet strap the front axle a little to the side to connect the lower mount. Or redrill the lower mount a little toward the driver's side to recenter the front axle after the lift.

Mud's gonna kill me for this, but....

Thanks,
After some fighting with the track bar I got it into place and finished the build. It took a jack to apply enough pressure to screw on the threads. Finally finished, I decided to compliment the new suspension with a set of five new 31" BFGoodrich's. I've attempted to attache some pics below but there seems to be and "upload error". (can this be fixed? it's a good lloking build:))
I have, however, run into a few problems but they seem to be minor. The first is a vibration in the steering wheel at the top of second gear and into third. Perhaps u-joints? (though they seemed fine before, never any wiggle) Perhaps drive train angle? (though that shouldnt be a problem as it was only a 2 inch lift)
I would also like to fish for ideas on ways to pep up the power in the 2.5 ltr engine. The 31" BFG's have made the engine have to work a little harder. (I've already installed the 4.0 ltr throttle body and installed a Bank's monster exhaust to let it breath.)
Any replies would be great.

Cheers,
Biermann
