E eh-ut New member Jul 7, 2011 #1 I just replaced the intake/exhaust gasket on an 05 wrangler. Hooked everything up, (labeled it all upon disassembly) and tried starting it. It revs 3000rpm and surges. Shut er down, fishin for a plan of attack. Appreciate any help. Thanx

G GREER216 New member Jul 7, 2011 #3 Best way to tell if a vacuum leak is start it and spray starter fluid around ur motor if it revs higher then its a vacuum leak.
