sulphur odor

my 1995 2.5L wrangler smells like sulphur very strong at highway speeds or when i get on it a little. i have replaced the cat. converter but to no avail. any suggestions? thanks

Do you use the same brand of gas all the time. Might be getting high sulpher content in that. Changing brands might help. Try running some fuel injector cleaner through also.

rsvpepper, thanks i'll give it a try. does anyone think the engine is running too lean or could the erg valve be blocked?

I have had that problem in the past, and it's not to attractive to say the least. I went down to my local auto parts store and they had a cleaner specifically for that purpose.(To remove the rotten egg smell)I put it in my gas and the odor went away. Good Luck.
