gonna lift her dont know who to use

I'll agree that the rusty's kit can be ok, it depends on where they got there springs from that time. As for Rough country I beg to differ. I have had way to many problems with there kits

    Rim protection

RE: Swap in a cruise control? the 49 bucks does one year, but in comparison to those that mount different rims, around here it's 10 bucks a tire for mounting and balancing also if you compare it to the cost of 1 steel rim it is not much. I just started looking into this stuff because I had so...

    Rim protection

A few Katrina Pics from New Orleans Thats the reason that I started looking into this. My rims became pitted and cruddy. I still have not found an inexpensive way to fix the rims.

    Gear ratio after lift

I agree with bounty. We do use 4 cyl jeep axles at our shop all the time to save customers money. factory 4 banger wranglers came with a 4.10 ratio and is a direct swap into a wrangler of the same years. I have heard of a lot of people just swapping in the the carrier, ring, pinion and shims...

    Rim protection

Nope this stuff is not a wax. The zoop wax is just that it is a wax. Any wax will do the same thing. This will actually create a barrier to the rim that is very tough. This stuff has been a round for awhile but only in commercial applications. They use it on NYS snow plows as an...

gonna lift her dont know who to use

RE: Rim protection BDS kits are one of the best ones made for the money. Gives you a great ride if you don't over torque the shackles. I would also recommend getting the 1" lift shackle with the BDS kit to clear the military wrap.

    Rim protection

This won't come off in the car wash like crisco would and to tell you the truth I have never had much luck with the crisco trick. This actually seals to your rim to protect it. I have heard of people using crisco and the other one is to apply paste wax. Those both are just a film that you are...

    Rim protection

RE: Re: RE: Gear ratio after lift I know I haven't been on much lately but I have a question. I have been working with a chemical company on a new product and heres the idea. They have a product that you would be able to apply onto your rims in the fall that would protect the rim from the...

2001 Cherokee Wanting to fit 33s

I tried to talk him out of them but he insisted. I also told him that the first time I had to pull him out that I would carge him $5. He paid up the first time we went offroading. He is trying to sell them now

2001 Cherokee Wanting to fit 33s

You will need 6" of lift to run 33's. The kit I have been using the most for this is the Tomken 6". It is very complete and competatively priced. You will also need to install a SYE. I know some manufactures are saying that you can just run the t/c drop but you will be changing ujoints once...

    5" lift questions

The front lower arms will at least need to be replaced. With 5" of lift the stock arms will be maxed out against the perch. Other than that you should be ok. I did it with my wifes cherokee as a test and had no problems with vibes or bumpsteer.

    Hummer Vs. XJ

I used to drive the military hummers and they stink wen put against a Jeep Wrangler. I took a $50 bet from a rich guy here in town that I could go places that he couldn't. The compramise was that we could not run any trails to narrow for him and we could not go through water over my fender. I...
