I got my jeep back from a clutch change. Now my shifter (5 speed) is sloppy and loose. What is the piece that goes in the base of the shifter below the boot called and who might have one? Can't go back to the shop. Thanks

A source for steering column horn parts is wanted. The plastic piece with 2 metal legs protruding from it under the bolt holding the key lock in place. Its held down with a straight spring.

My hubs or lockouts are banging. Just put in new wheel and spindle bearings, u-joints, rotors pads, seals and almost everything else. The lockouts are new superwench. It happens when in 4WD or 2WD. Locked or unlocked. Any help is appreciated. RT

Just picked one up at the wreckers. gm made the canisters. Use Mid 1970 to early 1980 canisters. Same dimensions . You might have to look hard for the right amount of ports on the top. I found one in a pickup. Also I found Cadillacs were a good choice to start with. I spent months...

Does anyone know how to improve a window regulator that jams 3 times as its rolled down or know where to get a new one? I took the hard doors apart and the drives side jams going down. I greased the gearing but doesnt help. Can these be adjusted somehow?

Just installed system but after 2 minutes it runs rich. Idle to 1500 rpm stays smooth but after that the engine stumbles and rpm falls off. Timing doesnt change anything. I get code 45 running rich but i don't know hat to do. Don't know shere ckt. 412 is to ground it per service manuel...

An engine mount is in the way of an oil pan bolt on the passenger side. How can I take the mount off and drop the pan at the same time? How can I hold up the engine with both off?

I have an 85 cj7.* I have a mechanical problem.* When putting in gas I have to do it slow in order to get air in it or it spits the gas back out.* Can you work on jeeps and can fix this or know of how to fix it?* I have the tank out now . I just put howell efi on it and the return line builds up...
