    fuel injectors

My gauge floats around a few point as well, so I wouldn't expect it to be really precise.

    fuel injectors

If it ran through a whole tank that fast then the injector in question may be stuck open. That is a bad thing; it could burn so hot that it could do damage to your intake and/or exhaust valve. So I would get on that pronto! I don't really have many tips to improve your mpg, though I have a...

    fuel injectors

He might be trying to reel you in, but that doesn't mean he isn't right. Lots of times the code that the ECM throws is more a clue to the problem than the problem itself. Do you have a garage and a few hours? You can test the injectors fairly easily with an air compressor and some simple hoses...

That's the kind of good old fashioned play that is disappearing in our day of everything electronic. I too fought dirt-clod wars as a kid!

NEED HELP!!! My jeep took a crapt on me over night, very confused

Start, or jump the jeep, then check the voltage on the battery terminals with a volt-meter. ( you can get a cheap one from Walmart) You should have 13.8 volts or more when the jeep is running. If not, it is your alternator. That's what I am betting; it sounds like your alternator has gone bad.

Jeep wave first time ever returned to me in wichita

I usually do the "V" wave. I was told years ago that it was something to do with "Victory" since the Jeep helped win WWII. Though that could be just wishful thinking. :-)

    Crazy Christmas lights

Right on. It is a flat piece of metal that is two different metals laminated together. One layer expands at a faster rate when heated than the other. This causes it to bend away from the contact when it heats. When it cools it drops back down. You may have turned the blinking off by twisting...

Jeep wave first time ever returned to me in wichita

I almost always wave. But generally JKs don't return the wave. Perhaps they think they are too cool to wave to a YJ, but I wave at them just the same. :-) YJs and CJs almost always wave. TJs about 50/50.

    Hydroplaning

Two factors that will influence when different tire/vehicles will hydroplane are tread design of the tire ( IE how well it clears water) And ground pressure. Take the total weigh of the vehicle, and divide it by how many inches of tire contact the ground. Heavier and smaller tires: Higher...
