    Let's see your Jeep!

Every answer you were ever seeking! Not to hi-jack the thread but don't buy WARN (Weak And Really Nasty) bumpers unless you plan to box the ends or never hit anything with them. Look at my front bumper (drivers side) set it down on a rock and not very hard and it twisted like a pretzel. I am...

    Let's see your Jeep!

RE 5.5" LA with 1.75" spacers in the front to level it out after all the "stuff" on the front and under the hood. Sitting on 35" BFG MT's, York OBA with a 2.5 gl tank under the hood, lots more has been done to it and more will happen this winter in the "off-season". It only has a little over...

    Rubicon NP-241 problems

question on jeep xj axle shafts The vibe is one that you would barley notice if you do not have a lift. If the top is off and the radio is up that would be enough of a distraction to not notice it if you have no lift. if you have a lift it will be pronounced and will drive you nuts trying to...

    Rubicon NP-241 problems

I posted this on the rubicon owners forums but thought I would put it here too. This might get a little long so I will apologize for it now. If you have had the TSB done on your Rubicon for a leaking transfer case you really need to read this. If you have vibes that you just can’t seem...

    Ultimate JEEPZ.COM Trail Ride

I did a lot of work trying to get ready for a run that would have happened early this summer. When Josh passed I kind of dropped it. He and I did a lot of work together on it. I would like to try to pick it up and do it again and get the ball rolling once again

    Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

The Rubi didn't solve all of my problems. There were a bunch of things I had to do to her to get her prepped for the trails here and there are a bunch of problems with them. Speaking of which, I blew a u-joint on my axle last night and it took out the inner and outer shaft. poor design, 44 axle...

    Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

$500 for a set of 5 rims? Aren't the spacers like $120 each? Add shipping and the price may work out to be about the same or a little less. With new rims you can get the correct backspace and be all set. Aluminum rims don't survive here. If they did I would have kept the stock moab rims that...

    Hi-Lift maintenance

cb radio and antenna tuning Take it apart and use good old rustoleum on it. If it is rusted already, get rid of the rust first by sanding it or use a wire wheel on a drill to get it good and cleaned up before you paint it. I have seen people color match them to thier jeeps here. ~Curt

    Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

Before you drop a bunch of cash on spacers look at the price on some new rims. I run rock-crawlers (black steel) that I can bang back round if need be and they are way cheaper than a set of spacers. I think for the price of one spacer you can get 2 rims and get the tires mounted and balanced to...

    EZ-locker or Lock-Right

You really should think about this. 33"s on a D35 with a locker is asking for breakage if you are using stock axles. edit I didn't consider the spline count with my thoughts on the spares. ~Curt

    Hi-Lift maintenance

I grease the pins of mine with a water-proof grease (same stuff I use on the ball joints) all of the rest of the moving parts get a light coat of WD-40 or PB-Blaster. The grease keeps water out of the holes the pins travel in and it seems to do a good job. I do this about every three months. I...

    Poison Spyder diff guards

I have Dana 44's front and rear. I tried to put a Crane cover on the front and it hit the trackbar. I have a warn dif cover for the front now and I think it will clear the bar but I may have to cut it a little to get it to clear. I also stretched out my wheelbase when I put on the longarm lift...
