Still at it.

hey everybody.my cj hasn't beat me yet.i'm still plugging away at it.about 8'' of frame on the driver side rear was rusted out.i cut it off to replace with new steel.whats the best way to weld it on and brace it up to keep it strong.again thanks to all and this site.

hey everyboby it's been a while.the 80 cj is completely apart.the body is off and i've got some welding to do on the frame.i have not welded in about 10 years.what is a good all around brand of welder for the home garage that uses 115 volts.something to go from frame to sheet metal.thanks griff.

I got my cj home that I just bought. It's been in a garage and hasn't been started in over a year. How should I go about trying to start it without doing any major damage? Thanks for the help.

I found a 81 cj7w/ a 304 for $1200.It's been garaged for 2 years but ran before that. It's all original and has basic cj rust.Is it a keeper and where should I start tearing it apart. Thanks for any help you may have.
